NOT ANOTHER APP

Your website should not be separate from the work.

Most nonprofits end up with a website over here, volunteer signups over there, contacts in a spreadsheet, documents in somebody's personal drive, and the real answers living in one person's head.

PIFOS replaces that pile with one connected home. Update the work once, and the right information can support both the public-facing site and the private workspace behind it.

One organization. One source of truth. Two connected experiences.

With PIFOS: One branded operating system.

ONE SYSTEM · TWO SIDES

The community sees your mission. Your team runs the work.

PIFOS connects the public experience people see with the operational workspace your team uses behind it. Your nonprofit keeps its own identity. The platform stays under the hood.

Your Public Presence

Give the community one clear place to discover your mission, services, programs, events, supporters, videos, help information, and available booking opportunities.

  • Branded nonprofit subdomain
  • Custom hero and organization content
  • Programs and services
  • Events and community information
  • Supporter and sponsor recognition
  • Video and media
  • Public booking
  • Fundraiser and giving content when enabled

Your Operating Workspace

Give your team one place to manage what is happening, who is involved, what still needs attention, and what the public should see.

  • Events and volunteer roles
  • Programs and bookings
  • Contacts and relationship history
  • Supporters and partner CRM
  • Documents and required items
  • Messages and notifications
  • Public-site content controls
  • Giving and fundraiser records

Update the operation once. Stop rebuilding the same information everywhere else.

BUILT TO RUN THE WORK

The pieces nonprofits usually have to stitch together.

PIFOS was built around the daily work of mission-driven organizations—not around a generic business template with nonprofit labels pasted on top.

Programs & Booking

Publish programs, define operating days and hours, block unavailable times, accept booking requests, send confirmations, and manage the schedule from one place.

Events & Volunteer Roles

Create one-time or recurring events, define the help each event needs, assign people to roles, and see what is filled and what is still open.

Contacts & Relationships

Keep volunteers, donors, participants, partners, and community contacts connected instead of duplicating the same person across separate lists.

Supporters, Sponsors & CRM

Maintain organization details, contacts, relationship history, verification, tags, notes, donation links, volunteer links, and sponsor recognition—with separate access controls for sensitive records.

Documents

Keep forms, required files, internal resources, ownership, and status attached to the organization instead of buried in personal accounts or forgotten folders.

Messaging & Notifications

Support direct and group communication, in-app alerts, booking notifications, and email confirmations so fewer tasks depend on somebody remembering to send a follow-up.

Public Site & Brand

Give each organization its own logo, public content, programs, services, supporters, media, help content, and branded subdomain without rebuilding a separate website stack.

Video & Storytelling

Host video directly or embed it from an outside provider, choose featured content, and keep mission storytelling connected to the organization's public presence.

Giving & Fundraising Records

Track donations, named funds, goals, campaigns, donor relationships, recurring status, and fundraiser content in the same operational system.

On-site card processing is in final testing and is not live yet. PIFOS will take 0% of charitable donations when it is activated.

Installable Web App

PIFOS can be added to a phone or device like an app, giving teams a cleaner way to return to the workspace without hunting through browser tabs.

Not every nonprofit needs every module on day one. PIFOS gives the organization room to start with the work it has and grow into the rest without replacing the foundation.

YOUR MISSION STAYS OUT FRONT

PIFOS does not put your nonprofit inside our brand.

Each organization receives its own branded workspace and public subdomain. Its logo, content, programs, people, and operational records remain tied to that organization—not blended into a shared public directory or another nonprofit's account.

Your identity on the surface. PIFOS underneath.

  • Separate organization workspace
  • Organization-scoped content and records
  • Role-based member access
  • Additional permission gate for sensitive supporter information
  • Public content limited to information intentionally published
THE PAY-IT-FORWARD PROMISE

$0 means a $0 PIFOS platform fee.

$0

Qualifying mission-driven organizations receive a donated PIFOS workspace from FitchCraft. There is no monthly PIFOS platform subscription and no contract required to keep using the base platform.

PIFOS platform fee

$0

PIFOS share of charitable donations

0%

Required contract term

None

PIFOS is built and currently supported by FitchCraft as a community software initiative. We are developing the long-term support model without shifting a platform subscription onto participating nonprofits.

Online payment processing is not live yet. When activated, donations are designed to flow directly to the participating nonprofit. Standard third-party card-processing costs may still apply. PIFOS will not add a percentage commission to charitable donations.

TRUST HAS TO BE BUILT IN

Your organization should not have to surrender its data to receive donated software.

PIFOS was designed so organizations can share one software foundation without sharing one pool of private records. Access is based on the organization and the user's role, with additional controls available for sensitive supporter information.

Separate workspaces

Each participating organization operates inside its own organization-scoped environment.

Role-based access

Admins, members, and other approved roles receive different levels of access based on what they need to do.

Sensitive-record controls

Supporter and relationship records can require an additional permission rather than being visible to every organization member.

Data portability

The organization can request an export of its information and leave the platform.

Donation integrity

PIFOS takes no percentage of charitable donations and is designed so FitchCraft does not hold the nonprofit's donation funds.

BUILT LOCALLY · BUILT LIKE IT MATTERS

Enterprise-grade experience. Community-first purpose.

Pay It Forward OS is a FitchCraft initiative built in Yuba-Sutter by John Fitch. FitchCraft brings more than 30 years of data, analytics, and operational systems experience to a simple local promise: build software that solves the real problem, keep it understandable, and stand behind it.

Local enough to answer. Experienced enough to build it right.

BUILT FOR THE PEOPLE DOING THE WORK

For organizations with a real mission and limited bandwidth.

PIFOS is designed for teams that need a real operating foundation without adding another expensive subscription or hiring an internal software department.

Small nonprofit teams

For organizations where a few people wear every hat and administrative work follows them home.

Volunteer-led causes

For groups coordinating real community work without a full-time operations staff.

Youth and education organizations

For teams managing programs, schedules, participants, volunteers, partners, and public information.

Faith and mission-driven teams

For organizations serving people through recurring programs, outreach, events, and community support.

Community organizations outgrowing spreadsheets

For teams whose current system works only because one person knows where everything is hidden.

Workspace requests are reviewed individually to make sure PIFOS is a responsible fit for the organization, the people it serves, and the platform's current capabilities.

You do not need an IT department. You need an accountable point of contact, a real community purpose, and a willingness to use the platform responsibly.

FROM REQUEST TO WORKSPACE

No sales maze. A real setup conversation.

  1. Tell us about the organization

Share who you serve, where you work, and what is currently eating your team's time.

  2. We review the fit

FitchCraft reviews each request personally to make sure the platform matches the organization's needs and current readiness.

  3. We configure the workspace

Approved organizations receive their own branded PIFOS environment, member access, public content foundation, and starting configuration.

  4. Start with what matters

Begin with the modules the organization needs now. Add more of the platform as the team becomes ready—not all at once just because the features exist.

The goal is adoption, not dumping a giant software manual on a volunteer team and calling it onboarding.

FAQ

Questions organizations ask before requesting a workspace

Is PIFOS really free?

The base PIFOS platform fee is $0 for approved organizations under the current Pay-It-Forward model. There is no monthly PIFOS subscription and no contract required for the donated base workspace. Clearly separate third-party or optional outside-service costs may still exist, but they are not hidden PIFOS platform fees.

Is PIFOS just a nonprofit website?

No. The public website is one part of the system. PIFOS also provides a private operating workspace for programs, bookings, events, volunteer roles, contacts, supporters, documents, communication, notifications, media, public content, and giving records.

Can we accept online donations through PIFOS today?

Not yet. Donation and fundraiser records are built into the platform, and the online payment path is in final test mode, but live card processing is deliberately turned off. When it is activated, PIFOS will take 0% of charitable donations. Standard third-party payment-processing fees may still apply.

Does FitchCraft receive or hold our donations?

The payment design is intended to send donor funds directly to the participating nonprofit rather than placing FitchCraft in custody of those charitable funds. Live payment processing is not currently enabled.

Who owns our data?

Your organization retains ownership of the content and operational records it enters, subject to the platform Terms, Privacy Policy, applicable law, and individual privacy rights. The organization may request an export and leave the platform.

Is our information mixed with other nonprofits?

No. Organizations use the same PIFOS software foundation, but their workspaces and organization-scoped records are separated. Access is controlled by organization membership and role.

Who can request a workspace?

PIFOS is built for nonprofit, volunteer-led, faith-based, educational, and other mission-driven community organizations. Requests are reviewed individually rather than approved automatically.

Do we need technical staff?

No. The platform is designed for real teams, including organizations without an IT department. FitchCraft still expects each organization to name an accountable point of contact who can help configure the workspace and maintain accurate information.

Is Pay It Forward OS itself a nonprofit?

Pay It Forward OS is a community software initiative built and operated by FitchCraft. Each participating nonprofit remains its own independent organization.

What happens after we apply?

FitchCraft reviews the request, contacts the organization for a practical setup conversation, confirms fit, and then configures an approved workspace. Submitting the form is a request, not an instant account activation.
